And that you can never know the intelligence of what you want to stay, until you say it. And chances are if it's really dumb you woulnt have said it in the first place so that's not a problem.

hi just thought i would leave a comment, surely by the very meaning of the word "opinion" it cant make you dumb or smart?! surely its the argument you support your opinion with that makes you dumb or smart! i think opinions are important otherwise you wouldn't have democracy

Anyone would sound stupid if they just came into a conversation and blurted out an opinion without being involved from the beginning. To keep from sounding stupid, ask to join in and for a quick recap of the discussion - then opine away!! :-)

Sure it does, I know I'm not smart. How do you define smart? You are smart enough to use a computer and join this site. You are smart enough to present a cogent argument here. Don't allow others to tell you how smart you are, we are all important and useful. Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure you have many friends both here and in reality. |
