Chicken or egg? What came first?

I was looking on the forums and didn't find this anywhere and if it is somewhere, I'm sorry.

To ancient philosophers, the question about the first chicken or egg also brought up the questions of how life and the universe in general began.

So what do you think? Chicken or Egg?

I personally think it was the egg.

The egg. Which probably grew from a single-celled organism, which then evolved into a multi-celled organism, and so on. That's how evolution works for all species. Simple to complex (or, in the case of bacterium and the like, more complex).
