Hey everyone!
I was thinking in school again and decided that I wanted to make a forum post about it.
So do you guys think that it should be manditory for parents to give consent to about there daughters underage pregnancy?
In my opinion no. I feel that its wrong to kill a human being. I also feel that the girl should control what is done to her body and her baby.

I agree with you, but for different reasons.
Unless a rape was involved (not statutory rape), I think the teenager should live with her mistake and deal with the outcome. There is no better way to learn from stupidity than to have to live with the consequences. On the other hand, the parent shouldn't have any say in things like that. The parent wasn't there when the child was conceived. The only two people who should have any say, in my opinion, are the two who helped conceive the child. Even so, if they don't want the child they should give it up for adoption unless the mother is faced with fatal circumstances where the she would die if she didn't abort.

I semi agree with the two of you.... however I also disagree. My reasons for this are quite simple. Firstly the two that conceived the child should most definitely be held accountable for their actions and see to it that the child has a fair chance of life just like you and I have now. (obviously I am anti abortion) However I do believe that circumstances should be considered. As noted above rape, and life threatening birth issues. But it has been scientifically proven that girls at the age 11 are capable of consuming a child. (unlikely but true) It is because of this I do believe that if the age of the girl is under a certain age; which I believe should be under 15, then the parents of the pregnant child should have a right to determine how to go about the situation due to underaged restrictions. But I also believe that both sides of the family should agree on the course of the action that needs to be taken prior to being taken. Furthermore, if the partner is capable of working and taking care of the child then the children that consumed should have full rights and responsibility over the child in question.
This s just how I feel on the matter.
