Perhaps we should have a guide to forming an identity? But where to begin?

Perhaps we should have a guide to forming an identity? But where to begin? O.o I guess i do not understand what the topic is asking for us to do. Don't we already have an identity system? (our name)

i suppose nothing does... what separates us from someone else without our name? I suppose nothing explicitly does.

i suppose nothing does... what separates us from someone else without our name? I suppose nothing explicitly does. Some may describe an individual by one's hobbies, attitude, skills, talent, opinions, friends, social scene (if one), personal beliefs, religion, and so on. With none of the above I process whatsoever.

Well, you can place a description on someone (i.e. their talents, hobbies, et cetera), but does that mean you have placed an identification on someone?

Well, you can place a description on someone (i.e. their talents, hobbies, et cetera), but does that mean you have placed an identification on someone? Alex Jones [be](Num. 55267)[/be] plays basketball, somewhat rude, a wizard at slam drunks, processions the talent of painting, feels that you can and cannot prove the existence of a high power/being/force, hangs mostly around girls because he relates me to them, has no social stance, feels Obama is a good president, and is an agnostic atheist. I created an individuality and personality.

Now the question is "Can someone recall on this person at any given moment?", and "Is this enough to separate this person from everyone else on earth?" If you can answer yes to both of these then i suppose you just created a new unique identity system.

I would assume you would need to add more detailed to the character, because I flat out made him one dimensional.

Well, i think if you can distinguish that person from anyone else, you have yourself a unique person with their own identity. In the case of that character though, yeah pretty flat =P

Then how do you define someone with no personality or identity?

you can not. Why, did it seem like i was implying otherwise?
